About Morning Glory Confections

Morning Glory Confections is all about taking a classic confection--peanut brittle--and modernizing it by using non-traditional ingredients like chai tea, coffee, and New Mexico chili.  At the same time, we're bringing brittle back to its roots, as a carefully crafted confection using traditional techniques in small batch production.  Morning Glory Confections is based in Los Angeles and can be found at fine food shops, wine stores, cafes and marketplaces, farms and gift shops across the country.

Max Lesser, Owner and Confectioner
After finishing graduate school in 2006, Max worked as a private chef for a family in Los Angeles.  During this time, he experimented with a wide variety of ingredients and textures in the foods he prepared.  After combining two of his most requested snacks - peanut brittle & spiced nuts - he instinctively began dreaming up new brittles.  Armed with the support and encouragement of his family and friends, Morning Glory was launched in 2008.
